In this page, I would post my journey and learnings on achieving various ISC2 related certifications.
The first exam is "CC – Certified in Cybersecurity". ISC2 offers Free Exam and Training for this Entry-level Certification. More on this can be found here.
Next in my radar is the crown jewel of security certifications and it is "CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional". More on this can be found here.
All certified ISC2 professional and required to fully support the Code of Ethics (the "Code")
There are 4 mandatory canons in the Code which I am directly copying and pasting from ISC2 website itself as violating this Code may result in the revocation of certification. Also, there would be questions on Code in Exam as well.
Code of Ethics Preamble:
- The safety and welfare of society and the common good, duty to our principals, and duty to each other, require that we adhere, and be seen to adhere, to the highest ethical standards of behavior.
- Therefore, strict adherence to this Code is a condition of certification.
Code of Ethics Canons:
- Protect society, the common good, necessary public trust and confidence, and the infrastructure.
- Act honorably, honestly, justly, responsibly, and legally.
- Provide diligent and competent service to principals.
- Advance and protect the profession.
